Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is Negoskwela a government organization?

Negoskwela is a private institution, owned and operated by Skill Power Institute, a non- stock, non profit organization existing under Philippine Laws.

2. Do you have other branches?

Aside from our Quezon City site, we currently do not have any other branches in the Philippines. However, we are in the planning stages of expansion, so better keep a close eye on our website/Facebook page (http://facebook.com/Negoskwela) for further updates.

Seminars and Trainings

1. Where and what time do seminars/trainings start?

We conduct our seminars/trainings in our Quezon City site, usually from 9:00am to 5:00pm. You can find us at: CMLI Bldg., Cor. Agham Road, North Ave., Diliman, Quezon City (in front of Veterans Memorial Medical Center)

2. In what language are seminars/trainings conducted?

Most of our classes are in Filipino but can also be adjusted according to our students’ needs/preference.

3. Do you offer online courses?

We are not offering online classes at the moment. We are still working on our downloadable lessons to be made available in the near future.

4. Are your courses accredited by TESDA?

No, since we only offer crash courses that can be completed in a matter of days. However, our mother company, Skill Power Institute, offers TESDA accredited courses.

5. Do you offer free seminars/trainings?

We do offer free seminars/trainings but only during special occasions (i.e. Anniversary).

6. Do you provide resource speakers for events?

No. Our Resource Speaker must always come in package with hand-outs, certificates, materials, tools and equipment for demo/hands-on.

7. Do you sell learning materials such as handouts and manuals?

No, we don’t. We only distribute learning materials to our enrolled students.

Schedule and Fees

1. Are your trainings/seminars free?

No. We offer these courses for a fee and fees vary from course to course.

2. Where can I access the list of course fees?

We do not disclose the full price list of our courses. However, for reference, our average course fee is PHP 2,500.00. Kindly send us a message on which particular course you are interested in so we can provide you with more details.

3. Do you have other schedules aside from what is posted?

Yes, it can be requested through email.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

1. Are there any requirements for the registration?

We require a downpayment of PHP500.00 in order for you to secure your slot. You can either pay in cash in our office or through Asia United Bank/PS Bank/Cebuana Lhuillier.

2. Do I need to have any qualifications to enroll in a course?

No, you do not need to have any previous knowledge on the course you are interested in, as our workshops always start with the basics.

3. How can I reserve a slot in your seminars/trainings?

You can reserve a slot online via our website or via landline. After which, you have to make a downpayment of PHP500.00 to secure your slot. Remember to send us a copy of your deposit/remittance slip (website/email) and bring the original copy on the seminar/training day. You can also visit our office for direct reservations/payments.

4. How can I avail of your early bird discounts?

You must confirm your reservation through a downpayment of PHP500.00 at least 5 days before the scheduled training date. The remaining amount can be paid on or before the scheduled seminar/training date.

5. Can I pay on the day of the seminar/training?

Yes, you can. However, without prior reservation, you will have to pay the course fee in full.

6. The seminar/training I was supposed to attend was cancelled. Can I just use the payment to enroll in another course with upcoming seminar/training?

Yes. We will give you a refund of the entire amount you previously paid, which means that you have to go through the registration process again.
